This short course is delivered by LTT Group Pty Ltd (RTO 51621) and equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements, prepare client and equipment, and collect specimens via urine and/or oral and breath testing, following the special procedures that apply for drugs of abuse testing.

• Blended delivery:

  • Face-to-face: One day at our Osborne Park training centre (25 Colray Avenue). Please contact us to find out the next available intake date.

  • Workplace observation (see requirements below)

$550.00 per participant.

• Assessment is to be completed after face-to-face training

  • Knowledge assessment completed during face-to-face session

  • Practical assessment completed during face-to-face session

• Third Party Report of demonstration of skills in the workplace, observed by supervisor (see requirements below)

Upon successful completion of the above requirements, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment.

Entry into this short course is open to individuals who:

• Currently work in a health-related service in Western Australia, and

• Have access to a computer, the internet and have basic computer skills.

Supervision of student’s workplace observation must be signed off in the workplace by a supervisor provided that the role of workplace supervisor is to perform drug and alcohol testing as part of their daily role for a minimum of 18 hours per fortnight, as well as hold the unit of competency.
